    cozy ambiance
    bug-free zone
    old ac odor

The place is so cozy with a lovely creek behind it! I loved sleeping with the windows open. No bugs in sight—now that's a win!

The AC had a charming old smell at first—like a grumpy grandparent. And the pool? Let’s just say my kids were braver than I was in that chilly water!

Staying in the Honeymoon Suite was amazing! It felt super cozy with a big soaking tub and a fireplace. Not to mention, the creek view was just beautiful!

    great view

We had a lovely stay where we enjoyed a spacious double queen room with a cozy fireplace and a great view of the creek. The outdoor pool and BBQ facilities were perfect for relaxing, especially after a day of exploring. Just a heads up, it can be a bit dark in the rooms, but it didn't really bother us. 😊

The room was larger than a polar bear's hug, with a comfy king bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. The view from the balcony overlooking the creek was the cherry on top, lulling us to sleep with the soothing sounds of rushing water. The staff was so friendly, they could probably sell ice to an Eskimo!

    creekside balcony
    comfortable king bed
    updated bathroom
    water pressure

The creekside balcony offers a relaxing view, perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. Rooms feature comfortable king beds and updated bathrooms that add a nice touch to the stay.

The property has signs of age. the carpets and furnishings show wear, which might not sit well with everyone. Some visitors may find the water pressure in the shower lacking, and the remote for the TV can be tricky to use. Also, the bed could use heavier blankets—I've had to buy one to keep warm during my stay.

We really enjoyed our honeymoon suite at Brookside Lodge. The room was spacious, with a lovely soaking tub in the bathroom and a cozy fireplace. The balcony overlooking the creek was a highlight, and the outdoor furniture made it easy to relax while listening to the soothing sounds of the water. The location was fantastic for exploring the town, accessible via a nice walk or the trolley.

    spectacular view
    tasty breakfast

The view from our balcony was something else, I mean, we even spotted a bear! The hot breakfast laid out was surprisingly tasty, pancakes and sausage links piled high—made our mornings so much better.

It cost a fair amount but it wasn't too awful considering what we got.

The Brookside Lodge has a stunning location just minutes from downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains. The sound of the creek from the private porch was incredibly soothing, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was attentive and friendly, making the check-in process smooth and efficient.

The mattress could be updated, and the phone in the room was not functioning well.
